Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line your baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
3 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon baking powder
In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, beating until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing just until combined.
1 cup unsalted butter, 1 cup granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 2 large eggs, 1 cup light brown sugar
Fold in the chocolate chips, making sure they’re evenly distributed throughout the dough.
2 cups chocolate chips
Scoop or roll the dough into balls, about 2 tablespoons each, and space them 1½ inches apart on the baking sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the edges start to turn golden. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Enjoy!
