Gather Your Ingredients You’ll need ground beef, onion, celery, carrot, green onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, egg, ketchup, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, pepper, Dijon mustard,  and brown sugar

Preheat and Prep

In a large bowl, combine ground meat with chopped vegetables, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, a beaten egg, ketchup, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and pepper.

Mix the Ingredients

Mix the ingredients until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the meatloaf tender.

Shape the Meatloaf

Transfer the meat mixture to a 5-by-9-inch loaf pan. Press it down evenly to form the loaf.
