Air Fryer Banana Pudding Brownies are everything I never knew I needed in one pan. Fudgy, chocolatey brownie swirled with a thick, creamy banana pudding cheesecake filling that swirls into the prettiest marbled layers as it bakes. Every bite is rich, that sweet banana flavor hits differently against all that deep chocolate.

I make these for potlucks, cookouts, bake sales, and family gatherings because banana pudding is a classic comfort dessert that everyone already loves, and combining it with a fudgy brownie makes it even harder to resist. They travel well, slice cleanly, and the air fryer makes the whole thing faster and easier than you’d expect. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.

Let me walk you through each step so your brownies come out perfectly marbled and fudgy every time.
Prepare Your Pan
Lightly grease an 8×8-inch square pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving a bit of overhang on the sides, and make sure the pan fits inside your air fryer basket.
I use a square baking pan with silicone grips for easy handling. The parchment makes it so much easier to lift the brownies out cleanly once they’ve cooled.
Mix the Brownie Batter
In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, water, melted butter, and 2 of the 3 eggs. Whisk everything together with a stainless steel balloon whisk until smooth, then set aside while you work on the pudding layer.
I love using a batter bowl with a handle and spout so I can easily and neatly pour the batter onto the pan for baking later.
Make the Banana Pudding Cream
In a separate bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, the remaining egg, and the milk until completely smooth using a hand mixer.
Add the instant banana pudding mix and keep whisking until the cream cheese mixture turns thick and creamy. This is the layer that makes these brownies so unique.

Layer and Swirl
Pour half of the brownie batter into your prepared pan and spread it out in an even layer with a silicone spatula. Drop spoonfuls of the banana pudding mixture on top, then use a skewer or toothpick to gently swirl it into the batter.
Add the remaining brownie batter over the top, then finish with dollops of the remaining creamy banana pudding layer and swirl again for that beautiful marbled effect.
Air Fry
Bake in the air fryer at 350°F (180°C) for about 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out mostly clean or with a few moist crumbs.
Every air fryer runs a little differently, so start checking around the 13-minute mark to avoid overbaking.

Cool and Slice
Let the finished brownies cool completely before slicing. The banana pudding layer needs time to set, and cutting too early will cause the layers to smear together. Once fully cooled, slice into squares and serve. Enjoy!
Since these fudgy brownies travel well, they’re a great pick for potlucks and bake sales. Stack them in a single layer inside an airtight container or a lidded baking pan to keep the tops from smudging.
If the weather is warm, keep the container in a cooler or insulated bag since the cream cheese layer stays fresher when chilled during transport.

How to Store Leftovers
Because of the cream cheese in the banana pudding layer, store these brownies in an airtight container in the refrigerator rather than at room temperature. They’ll keep well chilled for up to 4 days and actually taste even fudgier cold straight from the fridge.
To freeze them, let the brownies cool completely, then flash-freeze individual brownie squares on a parchment-lined freezer-safe sheet pan for about an hour before transferring them to a freezer-safe airtight container or zip-top freezer bag.
They’ll keep in the freezer for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge and let them come to room temperature before serving for the best texture.
What to Serve With Air Fryer Banana Pudding Brownies
A scoop of vanilla ice cream alongside one is a classic combination that works incredibly well, especially when still slightly warm from the air fryer.
Whipped cream or a light dusting of powdered sugar on top is another easy option that complements the banana flavor without competing with the chocolate base.
For a full dessert spread, pair them with sliced bananas and other fresh fruits and a drizzle of caramel sauce on the plate. A cup of coffee or cold milk on the side balances out the richness and makes the whole thing feel like a heavenly dessert experience.
