Ingredients You'll Need Ground beef, canned diced tomatoes, onions, garlic, ricotta cheese, lasagna noodles, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, olive oil, fresh basil.

Preparing the Meat Sauce

Heat olive oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add diced onions and minced garlic.

Add the Ground Beef

Add the ground beef to the pot, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Cook until fully browned.

Simmering the Sauce

Stir in canned diced tomatoes, fresh basil, salt, and pepper. Let the sauce simmer for 20 minutes to develop flavors.

Preparing the  Ricotta Mixture

In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, fresh basil, salt, and pepper.

Assembling the Lasagna

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Layer pre-cooked noodles, meat sauce, and ricotta mixture in a baking dish. Repeat layers, finishing with cheese on top.

Baking the Lasagna

Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Serving the Lasagna
